My Land Rover is a 1965 Series 2a.
It was a 88, made for the Canada market. I assume he had a busy and fruitful life in Canada and required a massive refubishment in the 1990’s, as the bulkhead (susceptible to rust) needed to be replaced. Looks like someone really cared about the car, and added a galvanized chassis, the Series 3 bulhead and dash, and a Series 3 gearbox (with synchromesh to 2nd gear).
